Tips on how to care for your bespoke piece for long gevity.

It is always recommended to keep any material away from harsh chemicals, perfume and Moisturizer.

Metals

925 Sterling Silver

Although Sterling silver is an extremely durable metal it can still tarnish so it’s important to look after it for longevity.
Always best to remove before going into the ocean and keeping it away from chemicals.

Cleaning:
Simply wash your piece by using a soft toothbrush/cloth with natural soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do this once in a while and your pieces will be sparking for a life time.

Opals

Opal is a soft stone, approximately the same hardness as glass (around 6.5 on Moh's hardness scale), so it is important to treat your opal carefully in order to avoid damaging it.

It is best to remove your opal jewellery before coming into contact with water.

Cleaning:

You can clean your opals using a soft cloth.

Gold Vermeil

Gold Vermeil refers to jewellery with a sterling silver base metal and a layer of gold plating on top. This is a great option for lovers of gold at more affordable rate.

Always remove your pieces before showering, sleeping, swimming, and/or working out. To avoid the wearing of your plating, remove when in contact with water, lotions, perfumes, sanitizers and/or exposure to sweat. Do not use any cleaning solutions on your pieces.

Cleaning:

Wipe with a dry soft cloth when needed.

Gemstones

Pearls

Pearls are a lot softer then gemstones there is increased risk of damage if you wear them every day.

Pearl jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Do not wear your pearl jewelry when exercising, showering, to the pool or to the beach.

Cleaning:

You can clean your Pearls using a soft damp or dry cloth.

Solid Gold

Gold is a soft metal and is usually blended with other alloys to increase its durability. Higher the carat means higher the quantity of gold used, making the material a richer yellow in colour.

Solid gold is ideal for everyday wear due to its high resistance to tarnish. That being said it is still recommended to remove before going into the ocean and keep away from perfumes and chemicals.

Cleaning:

Due to the softness of the material its best to use a soft toothbrush/cloth with natural soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
